VMware NSX Environment Updates
VMware NSX has been designed for high availability, which also includes times during which patches are applied. Patching NSX Manager never disrupts any network functionalities or network traffic itself. Since NSX Manager is provided as an appliance, patches can be easily applied by using the built in update service.
This section only describes update procedures, not upgrade procedures. A upgrade usually changes large parts of the infrastructure to a new major version.
