Statistics Collection Level
The statistics collection-level setting determines the amount of data that is collected for each statistical measurement recorded in vCenter. The setting required depends on the type of information that the organization requires. The higher the statistics collection-level setting, the more information is collected and the larger the vCenter Server database becomes. It is not recommended to set a statistics collection level above 2 for extended periods of time.
